Extremely huge emergency Please help me! - Page 6 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I have bad news. The test results did not improve, it was so horrible to hear that. I wasnt ready to let him go yet I transfered him to the buffalo grove specialists vets to know exactly what is wrong as the er in skokie could not exactly say 100% what he has. He was so weak in the car and he looked very sick I just couldnt stop crying when I saw him that way, he hardly even moved. This is my last and final try, as I cannot go through this anymore. I left him at the hospital and in the morning a specialist with kidneys is supposed to see him and tell me truly what is happening and if there is hope. If he says its genetic and it has no cure, although it will destroy me I will have to euthanize him to save him from the pain, I cant see him that way suffering and going through all of that. They are so expansive there that it is so hard for me to afford all of this financially, I had to leave a deposit of almost 1400 and that is only for the first 24hours. This is killing me, and I dont have the strength to do anything anymore, hes taking me down with him. I love him sooo much that I cannot describe it. As to petland if it turns out its their fault i will do everything to make their life miserable.
Everyone will know not to ever ever buy a puppy from them, how can they do this to people? dont they have a heart.
There is a tiny hope a slight little chance that my baby could have some chances to make it, but if they are slight and he is in pain I will have to end this pain and suffering. God Bless Everyone here for praying I just wish it could work.

Kammi I am praying the specialist can help you. I know how hard it is to love these little ones and see them so sick. I am praying for a miracle.

I am so sorry. I just got to read through this thread and I am so sad for you.

I really hope that your baby pulls through. I will be praying for your little baby.

OMG I am so very sorry you are going though all this . I will keep you and your babe in my prayers. I have a clinent that his Daughter used to work at the one here. She didn't work there long but told me terrible things. I am praying for you .........

oh no....I'm so so sorry....I don't know what to say except you have prayers and we're all pulling for you and your little guy. I wish I had better words for you...and hoped he showed signs of improvement....

we're here for you. You've done your very best by him and sometimes things are out of our hands & you need to let your heart guide you....but I feel your pain and wish I could just give you a hug.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. My sympathies are with you and thank you for the warning to those that do not know about Petland. Best wishes. I will keep your dog in our prayers.

OMG!! I just read this. I am so sorry to hear about your little one. I hope things start to look up for you. I think that I would still look into taking action against petland. I think it is awful they would sell sick pups. This certainly isn't something that happened since he has been with you. I will keep you all in my prayers. ((hugs))

Thank You everyone for praying.
I just love my little pup so much. This tiny beautiful creature came into my life and provided joy after I lost my german shepherd "Santa". Miko is such a wonderful puppy, he seems so smart and sooooo adorable, the hardest part is to think of the times when he would come and crawl under my chin and just sleep on me like a little adorable baby bear. I will never forget that. I still have hope left, tomorrow morning will be the final day and final decisions will be made. If my baby has a genetic disorder that is not treatable than I must say goodby and let him be as wonderful of a companion to God as he is to me.
I love you Miko and all of my strength goes out to you my baby, hang in there.

i pray that your lil baby is going to be okay. i know how you feel. i lost a puppy last year and i felt horrible. that feeling was eating me inside and out i felt like i couldnt breath. just dont give up hope! think positive cause it will change things. prayer does miracles!

kami i am so sorry to hear that you baby is still sick. When i got ruger i had just lost my yorkie a month earlier and ruger wasn't home with me for a night before he got sick. the vets kept talking to me about liver and kidney problems nnd that it looked like a shunt. i too couldn't let him go and cried so very much. His test results alarmed them, but they said an ultrasound could be done to see a shunt but when they are very small it may be hard to see. the thing is it turned out not to be liver or kidney problems, and his blood work was up and down for 9 days, i truly hope things work out for you like they did for me. I am praying for you!!!!!!!!

Prayers are constantly going out for your little one, I know it can be costly but here's praying your little one can be helped. Here's praying for strength for you to. I hope you do everything in your power to make sure Petland does not put any more people or pets thru this. They must be told to make the breeder aware of this problem to.

My heart is aching right now.

For everyone else that has a petland or petstore near them selling puppies, look around before you buy. We are all here to educate each other, lets spread the word.
I am near a petland in Lansing Illinois, I always stop in to look around because it's in a strip mall. I hate the conditions of the cages and how they put 2 and 3 dogs in one bin. There was a yorkie in a cage with a terrier(?)and a maltese. The yorkie couldn't defend himself as they were wrestling with her. I asked if I could hold her and she was shaking terribly. I stroked her for about 10minutes & she fell asleep. If for only 10 minutes I was happy I could give her 10 mins of peace. The paws on another one of the pets was bruised from walking on the metal cage for so long. I was appalled the wanted $1500 for her. They need to supply the name of the breeder they purchase pups from when you buy a dog from them. But that's bad business so we know they won't do that. There needs to be some type of regulations and fines brought against them. They will shut your restaurant/business down for not being clean, or different violations. They need to do the same for pet stores and bad breeders.
