Prayers are constantly going out for your little one, I know it can be costly but here's praying your little one can be helped. Here's praying for strength for you to. I hope you do everything in your power to make sure Petland does not put any more people or pets thru this. They must be told to make the breeder aware of this problem to.
My heart is aching right now.
For everyone else that has a petland or petstore near them selling puppies, look around before you buy. We are all here to educate each other, lets spread the word.
I am near a petland in Lansing Illinois, I always stop in to look around because it's in a strip mall. I hate the conditions of the cages and how they put 2 and 3 dogs in one bin. There was a yorkie in a cage with a terrier(?)and a maltese. The yorkie couldn't defend himself as they were wrestling with her. I asked if I could hold her and she was shaking terribly. I stroked her for about 10minutes & she fell asleep. If for only 10 minutes I was happy I could give her 10 mins of peace. The paws on another one of the pets was bruised from walking on the metal cage for so long. I was appalled the wanted $1500 for her. They need to supply the name of the breeder they purchase pups from when you buy a dog from them. But that's bad business so we know they won't do that. There needs to be some type of regulations and fines brought against them. They will shut your restaurant/business down for not being clean, or different violations. They need to do the same for pet stores and bad breeders.
