| You didn't get him from YourPup.com did you?!?!? I got one from there on November 25 and he has girdia and coccidia, and is very underweight. I think they keep them sick so they can sell them as teacups and tiny yorkies. BAD BAD Breeder! |

How is your baby doing that you purchased in November? I am so sorry...Did the coccidia make him not have an appetite? Mine wouldn't eat anything...I tried to get his interest in all sort of recommended things and nothing would work...I just didn't know if that caused vomitting and diarrhea or if there was more...?

OH MY GOODNESS! He is just a little DOLL BABY! What is his name? Surely he just needed a few more weeks with the breeder and his momma and he'll be all well and ready to come home soon. Hopefully he is now being treated for coccidia. When my baby had coccidia, it did make her lose her appetite because her tummy was so upset.

| His name was Stoli but he got a change to T.O. because he was always Ticked Off at me while I tried to feed him...He seemed to like T.O. alot...he may get a new name when he comes home though-I never got to see alot of his personality so maybe when he feels good he will earn a name...we may stick with T.O. though since he kindof took to it!! |

T.O. reminds me of Terrell Owens, the NFL football player. Stoli is a cute name, too. And don't worry about him being ticked off at you. He knows you are just trying to help him. My 2 yorkies were ticked off at me last night because they got their ears cleaned, a good brushing, gel on their teeth, and styling gel on their beards so they hair would stay down. They gave me the most evil looks for awhile. But they got over it. I'm sure Stoli/T.O. will do the same.

V, I'm serious....Hobbs would not even LOOK at me for a good 2 hours! He got up in hubby's lap and faced the wall and when I would call him, he would move his ears like he was listening to me, but he would NOT turn and look at me. Hubby and I were cracking up!! Even though Hobbs is a little "fruity," he doesn't like being groomed!

and we ended up in emergency at 2 am on a Sunday morning - when they're that small they can go down FAST....so it's very important to make sure they're treated - Once you've seen a vet and know what you're dealing with - lots and lots of fluids and food. ..some don't want to eat or drink they feel so sick - I used a syringe for both water and baby food. You can try Pedialite too for babies - it's good for keeping them hydrated. and if your yorkie IS eating on their own - try a little boiled chicken with white rice.
