| I'm so sorry to her about your baby. He might stay calmer when he is at the hospital. At home he might get too excited. they probalby keep him sedated a little to keep him from moving around too much. I hope he heals quickly. |

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | Hello Norma, and WELCOME to YT! I'm so very sorry for this tragedy, and the pain your furbaby has endured because of people not taking time with him!! gggrrrrrrrr....!! I can't imagine that x-rays did not reveal the break!? Did you tell the two vets that she fell from your arms onto the concrete? IF you do bring her home, I would definitely keep her separate from Paris until she's well healed. On A Side Note: It's not a good idea to give one's complete address on ANY site online. You might want to edit that, and just reference your state .

| This is a hard decision. I really don't know what they are doing for him there that you can't do at home, but I am unfamiliar with the treatment he is receiving. I agree with you though that he will be happier at home, if you have a cage to put him in and you can put him in a room by himself and maybe cover it to keep it darker so he is more calm. |

| So sorry to hear about your pup...it's hard to see these little ones in pain. 6-8 weeks is a very long time for him to be at the vet. I don't think I could stand to leave mine there for that long! I hope you can bring him home! Seems like he'd heal faster being in his normal surroundings and having you with him. Good luck to you! Keep us updated!

| I'm so sorry for all of this I'd get another opinion on this. There's no reason why he should be staying at the vets for that long, it seems ridiculous! Good luck and keep us posted.

| A lot of vets that insist on leaving them overnight have no care on staff after closing. I always take mine home. I don't possibly see how a dog can be better unattended than at home. I've heard of dogs chewing through their ivs. |

| Get a 2nd opinion Sorry to hear about your little one, I would seek a 2nd opinion, maybe call a few vets and ask questions. Are they charging you to keep him there, or was that included in the initial charge? My Kodak dislocated his hip when he was a yr. old. He refused to use the puppy stairs and jumped off the bed which is not that high. They think they are big dogs and will try anything. Good luck to you.
