| We are following along and thinking of you and Kia. Our neighbors dog's eye was infected from a fight with another "little" dog and they saved her eye a week down the road. They know more now. Prayers for you both.........

| Sunday Update Kia's eye is still very swollen, but she is feeling a little better. I am keeping an icepack on her eye most of the time; she is very good about it. She is eating and drinking fairly normal now, but still keeping very quiet. Nothing has changed, other than the swelling is, perhaps, a little less. I stil feel guilty about the whole thing, but at least she is alive, and clean, as I bathed her last night. She trembled with fear when my daughter brought her four month puppy in today-he is somewhat afraid of her, and is very gentle, so hopefully she will soon relax around him. He will be spending time with me-babysitting my granddog-so they should adjust fairly quickly. Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers-she is not out of the woods yet, but your help is great! |
