Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Butt dragging? Eddie has been occasionally scooting his butt across the ground for no apparent reason. Does this indicate worms? I don't see anything in his stool.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Ah, thanks, I've heard of that but hadn't considered it. I'll call the vet.

| RoxyJo did that a few times, but each time I checked, she had a little bit of poop in her fur. I couldn't see it, I had to feel for it. As soon as I washed her bottom, she would quit scootin'. |

| You can wait until Monday. It will drive you nuts because you hate to see them do that because you they are uncomfortable, but once it's done you're good to go for another 6 months or so. |

| It could be anal glands or something stuck in the fur like others have posted. I know my Mini Schnauzer does this every time she comes home from the groomer for a day or two. Not sure if it's just irritated from being shaved or what. omega |

| You should be able to just take him to the groomers and have his anal gland expressed. At least I know the groomers around here will do it and its way cheaper than having a vet do it.
