Just a thought. Have them checked for coccidiosis as well. Little Bit was doing that and the third vet I consulted said she had coccidia in her stool (intestinal parasite but not a worm). Apparently they are frequently in older dogs without causing any harm but the stress of a new home can cause them to become a problem for new puppies. Treatment seems to be helping already. Just l dose at diagnosis and another 1 week later. Good luck. Donna

yeah! i have no idea where the "pants" came from for us either, but it's pretty funny and catchy. sometimes we call her "the pants" or "baby pants", and one of my friends even calls her "miss pantalones"... that's too cute though! titey pants and brandy pants! i love it!

Sounds like Anal Glands. Your vet can express " squeeze them" for you or vet can show you how to do it. At first Iwas grossed out but then started doing it and my yorkie needs his anal glads expressed at least Once a month. If I dont do it once a month he will just get that awful skunk smell!

You should see our Chihuahua do it. She comes motoring across the floor with her rear feet up in the air. It's hilarious!

Also, my puppy drags his butt after he gets groomed because they shaved his anus.
