Marie...bless your heart! I feel so very bad for what Gucci and you are going through and I will keep praying for Gucci's recovery! Please give Little Gucci kisses from Maddie and I! Thank goodness she is young and strong and has that going for her! Please try to take care of yourself! If you aren't going to bed tonight, maybe you could at least take a nap and have your husband watch over Gucci. We don't want you to end up sick too. Also, even if you don't feel like eating, try to eat some good nutritious food. It's important to keep you well so you are able to care for Gucci!

Oh Gosh Marie, I just saw this post, and I can't even begin to think what you have been going through. My prayers are with you and Gucci. Marie, I had a Yorkie awhile back and my MIL who was visiting dropped a pill and Gracie took off with it. I called Posion control they told me if she had eaten it it would be 20 times what a dose would be for her. So I took her to my vet who stayed open until I got there and they induced vomiting. She looked like hell afterwards and was real wobbly, so hopefully that's what Gucci is experiencing now.

hey guys, I just spoke with my vet & he suggested 2 teaspoons of baking soda.. it will help break down whatever poison she does have in her tummy and help induce vomiting...any updates?

You guys are so great....I think I pm'd everyone who wanted to help...if I didn't ...please write me....and THANK YOU to everyone...Gucci still needs ALOT OF PRAYERS.

She's having a tough time right now...and I'll try to post if I hear any more news... but I think she'll be going back to the vet again... :(

I wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers and donations. My precious girl has a chance thanks to you all.
A little update,
Since we got home from the vet she was vomiting the charcoal and look like she was drunk. When she tries to walk her body will fall to her side. I contacted the vet and he told me not to feed her or give her water until tomorrow. Just let her lick ice cubes. He said that they gave her a lot of charcoal and that is why she is vomiting and probably why she is acting weird. She hasnt vomit in a while. Im crossing my fingers and praying that to be a good sign. He said that he thinks she will be ok being that she is young and healthy. He gave me his cell number just in case. He said to let her rest and keep her calm. He also said to watch her and check her urine and poop for any signs of bleeding, for what we are hoping will not happen. She has being sleeping for an hour now. But im so scared that I keep waking her up to make sure that she is fine.
Once again TY for all your help and support. I know I dont need to ask, but please keep her on yours prayers.

Hi Marie! So glad to hear from you and this news sounds better than the last update! I think I speak for us all when I say you can count on prayers to keep coming for Gucci! Even though we can help with donations and prayers, it is still such a helpless feeling when one of "our own" is in danger! I know we all wish we could do more! Just got off the phone with her....Gucci had a long night...is a little wobbly but is NOT throwing up now...and no blood in her urine.... :thumbup:

She did have a very black stool but this could be from the Charcoal. So far-so good ...I think. She will be calling the vet today because Gucci's gums seemed pale....so this is a concern ... but I really hope they caught this and the treatment works...

Did I tell you guys HOW PROUD I am of everyone ? :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup: (LOL...I sure have !!)

I have to say it again...people were wonderful yesterday and all the help was just awesome....we have such big hearted people here. :)

I just saw this today. I wish I had been on all weekend. I could have helped. I feel so bad now. I am glad to hear Gucci is doing better.

Note to self.. Make sure you stay on YT 24 hrs a day.
