Well Marie, I read this whole thread tonight, even the pages that I read in the beginning. I had to find out all the updates on Gucci. I'm so glad she is doing so well. Hi Marie and little Gucci! I can't begin to tell you how happy it makes me to read the positive updates about little Gucci! I don't remember a time I was every so worried about a little one on YT! I'm so thankful that she's doing so well and thank the good Lord for hearing all the prayers!!! Good grief...that is ridiculous that you don't have heat! How miserable! Im very disgusted with my landlord. I mean they are rude and take their sweet time to do any repairs. But you are a little bit late paying your rent and you get slap with an eviction notice. Hey Marie! I am so sorry that your landlord is a jerk! That just stinks. But hopefully you will be able to move before you know it. And I know that we will all keep our fingers crossed for sure! I am so glad that Gucci is doing better! That just makes my day! I wish that I would have been able to give a donation! But money is so tight here right now as well. I hope that you get a good report at your next visit as well! I will continue to pray for you and your girl! God Bless you both! |
Gucci Update Well today is a week since my Gucci had her mishap and thanks to all your prayers and caring she is recuperating. She still seems to be sleeping more than usual thou. She is eating and pottying and no signs of internal bleeding, so Im hoping that she is out of danger. Now I have to wait for the 8th for her blood test and pray that is comes back normal. I want to thank you all for the prayers and for being there for us. You all have a special place in my heart. Gucci send hugs and kisses for everyone. :hug: |
Marie, I'm so glad to hear that Gucci is doing well in her recovery. It's great that we can all help to contribute to her improved condition! Thanks for keeping us posted. She plays for a little bit with her rope and ball. She responds when we call her, I can see her ears perk up. Sometimes she comes to us and not the other times, but that is normal. She is a bit stubborn. She does seem a bit calmer, but I think that is good. The vet said for her to stay as calm as possible. His exact words were to care for her as if she was a Hemophiliac. Im hoping that she keeps recuperating and her PT test comes back normal. I promise to keep you all updated. |
Thanks. Wow, the hemophiliiac analogy really puts it into perspective. Poor baby is sick. But that just makes me think all the other positive signs are terrific. She's doing great! |

Once again, I am feeling good after reading about Gucci's last update! I truly think we have seen a miracle in little Gucci! I have thought so much of her ever since first seeing your plea for help and I felt so darn helpless. I would think that after all she's been through, she would sleep more than normal until she gets her strength back. I really do have a good feeling about her bloodwork coming back okay, but I understand why you worry until you know for sure! Keep your chin up and give Gucci kisses from Maddie and I!!! |
Sunday Update There is nothing really to report, so that means good news I suppose. She still doing good and I think that she is going to be ok, yay. Connie, Thank you so much. You are rite after all she's been through, she needs to sleep more than normal to get her strength back. But I just can't help it to worry. Thank you everyone for the prayers and kindness. Thanks to you all my baby is going to be ok(crossing my fingers). I have you all in my thoughts, heart and prayers. :hug: |
I'm so glad to hear that she is still okay! What a great group of people here at Yorkietalk, I was amazed at how so many pitched in with help! Keep us posted, I know I check in to see how Gucci is doing about once a day, and I KNOW alot of others are too. Yaaaay Gucci! |

As promise my Gucci update. She is recuperating well. She is playing a little more, yay. Two more weeks for her PT test, im praying that it comes back normal and she is out of danger. I can't wait. Thank you all for the prayers and everything you have done for us. |
Yea - everyday it sounds as if OUR :) little Gucci is on the road to a full recovery. I only say ours because of all the wonderful love and support you have received from all the members at YT. |
