Wow...you can hide the metronidazole in the food? That is amazing. That stuff is so nasty tasting. What is it in, canned food I guess? I would love to be able to accomplish that although sometimes it wont work when they are really sick and won't eat.

Yeah, he's usually a picky eater when I try hiding pills. He's good at finding them and spitting them out. I have a hard time getting pills into him, so I'm impressed that he eats the food with it mixed in. I'm doing kibble, wet and adding water. It's basically soup

Poor guy is probably very hungry that's why he doesn't notice it. Uni spits out pills also. Or she hides them in her mustache so I really have to check to see if she took it or not. I'm so glad to hear he's feeling better.

I may try that sometime. That stuff is difficult to give to some pups.

Couver is doing well! We are on the last day of the Cerenia and will continue the metro and suculfrate until finished. He has not vomited once since starting the Cerenia and is doing great! I got the last dose of the Panacur in him last night and hope that he does as well after the stop the Cerenia.

We will retest his bloodwork once he finishes the medications and I will update when I find out a (hopeful) diagnosis.
