Miss Tink has been doing good. A bit of tummy problems, but nothing our stock pile of meds couldn't help.
Tink brought me a gift this past Saturday at 2:30 am.... A MOLE!!! I still don't know if she just found it or killed it herself, she was only a foot away from me. I saw she had something in her mouth and OMG the look of pride on her face. She was SOOOO happy with herself. I had to laugh... here is my little 12 year old cancer pup, still living it up. I told her "Thank you" for her gift... she was happy being able to provide for the family.

Tink you made me giggle! You're a good mom...I would have freaked out instead of thanking her. lol I can only imagine the look of pride, she must have been beaming. It's so good to hear she's still "got spunk".

Tink Update:
Miss Tink had another episode last night (twitchy, not able to focus, stumbly) like she did about 1.5 months ago. Luckily, I was able to video tape it, and send to my vet. She is suspecting that Tink is experiencing a "focal seizure". When I you-tubed other dogs with this, it makes sense - although thankfully Tinky's do seem very mild. I sat next to her all evening, then she slept with me in bed all night (she never does this....) But she likes snuggling when she doesn't feel good. This morning she seemed a lot better, and my vet suggested a blood work within the next week. She said that medicating the seizures is not necessary at the moment, because the meds can cause a lot more problems....
I'm glad it's not something that's terrible, it's just really hard watching them be unwell and nothing you can really do about it...

But I'm just thankful Tinky is still here with me, and happy that she is feeling better today. It's Friday, and Momma can't wait to spend the weekend with her little Tink

Well Miss Tink has had a rough few days. I went ahead and took her to her Dr on Friday, she had bloodwork done and a review. Bloodwork looed good, and Tink was alert. She had stopped her focal seizures around Friday at noon. She was fine until the next day (Saturday) around 2:00pm - where they were constant about once every 30 second. She could not even walk around because she would twitch, then stumble, and I was too worried so was going to hurt herself so we went into the bedroom where they continued until she fell asleep. She almost seemed annoyed by it... She is alert before and after, but it's terrible to watch her struggle. I texted my vet and we are started an anti-seizure med this evening she was luckily able to call into our Kroger. The side effects seem to only be sleepiness, and I hope they help. I'm worried that this time it has stretched on for 3 days. Hopefully the meds will fix poor Tink. Thank you all for thinking of Tink.

Tink has had 4 grand mal seizures within 4 hours. We are at the emergency vet... Please pray for Tink.

Tinkerbell went to heaven today. Her seizures were uncontrollable. My heart is broken in a million pieces but I know it was best for her. Thank you all so much for your support. Tinkerbell was my one and only and I don't know how I am going to go on without her.

I am so sorry for the loss of Tink. I have followed your post about her the entire time and often thought about her and how lucky she was to have her as her mommy.

I can't imagine the pain you're feeling right now because I didn't even know your little one and seeing your post has made me feel sad. Just know you are in my thoughts right now.

Oh no, so very sorry that your sweet baby has gone to heaven. She was so brave throughout this long fight with illness, and you were the best, most caring mom she could possibly have. We cannot know how devastated you are at this terrible loss, but many of us who have lost our babies can imagine the pain and misery you feel. She is at peace now and the fight is over for her, bless her heart. But the pain her mom feels remains.
Prayers for you and Tink. She belonged to all of us as we followed her through the months, and we all feel the sad loss and grieve with you.
Rest in Peace sweet girl.

I can't imagine the pain you're feeling right now because I didn't even know your little one and seeing your post has made me feel sad. Just know you are in my thoughts right now.
