It's 5:30 am on a Beautiful Texas morning. Piper had a good night last night. Mommy got up every 3 hours to give her the Nutrical. She was bright eyed this morning. She was busy aggrevating our cat. She loves that cat. Mommy went over all the meds with daddy. Food is ready for her and in the fridge. (Linda is a good teacher). I imagine I will get a phone call from daddy when it is time to give to her. She has an appointment at 3:30 this afternoon. Some of the blood work will not be in until tomorrow. But, we should get a good blood sugar count today. I think since it was the NFL Draft last night. Piper will be sporting her Houston Texans Dress today. Go Texans! |

such a sweet lil girl, so happy Piper will spend time with her family, aggravating kitty is a good thing, shows she has interest and is spunky, lil Piper must have missed her terribly, how was her brothers reaction towards her when she came home. He had to have missed her big time. Have a wonderful time this week end with lil Piper, and have an awesome mothers day. |

lol, yeah they sure are not to happy when they smell other dogs on you. Years back one of my pups had to spend several days at the vet. When it was time to bring her home my vet told me not to get upset if the others did not readily accept her when she first comes home. He told me she will have scent of other dogs on her and my other pups may not recognize her right away. That lasted about 3 minutes, then it was a grand reunion. So happy Piper gets to spend some time with her family, she is an amazing lil girl, such a fighting spirit in such a tiny lil body. Piper will remain in my prayers forever. Have an awesome week end with all your babies. |

I'm so glad Piper is flourishing and we know that's in large part due to Linda's excellent care since Piper's been out of the hospital. They look like fast friends in that picture - happy to be together and you'd never know from that picture Piper had been so sick. |
You both look wonderful. Had to believe that little Piper was so sick looking at those bright eyes. Hope all tests come back good. |

I've been away for a few days...just catching up now. What better Mothers Day gift...having Ms Piper home with you. Hoping and praying her vet visit went well. You both look so happy in the picture...share more of your time together when you can. How'd it all go today? I feel like our prayers have been answered... |

I think Pipers mom was riding for breast cancer today but I heard she had a good visit with Dr Ramsey. I'm sure she will be along soon to update. |

Piper went on her first Harley ride today. She had a h good visit with Dr. RAMSEY yesterday. We are uping her to eating every 4 hours. She is eating very well and playing hard. Have not gotten all the lab results in yet. We still have a long road. But we are in this ride together. Will keep yall posted when I get the labs in. Until then. Happy Mothers Day to you all. |

Latest Report on my Piper Girl Got the call last night from Dr. Ramsey. All her levels are good. Her blood sugar still varies but are staying at 85 or better. She is eating really good and playing hard. We get to move from feedings every 2 hours to every 4 hours. She goes in for blood sugar test on Friday. If she is still holding, we will be able to moer her feedings to every 6 hours. She is making such an amazing recovery. She is my little fighter. We were able to take her off 3 of her meds.
