| I'm so glad to hear there is improvement. Praying that she continues to feel better.

| I had a similar situation with my Yorkie. She had been throwing up and was very weak last Saturday a week ago. I took her to an emergency vet clinic in another town close by. The vet said he needed to perform surgery for a hernia. So we left her there for what he said is a routine procedure. The clinic called me the next morning and said she is ready to be picked up. We took her home and she began to get worse than before. I took her back and he said it's too late, there isn't anything he could do because infection had spread. He had to put her asleep. I'm a grown guy but I'm so depressed and sad. I had her for 8 years, slept on the bed with me and sit next to me in my recliner. If I hadn't taken her to this doctor she may still be a live. It was just a routine surgery procedure but they didn't take care of infection. |

| Are you any where near a vet school? This whole situation has me very concerned. They really don't even know what they are dealing with. I am happy she is showing signs of improvement...but I am so worried...very worried. How can they treat what they haven't really even diagnosed yet? Please consider getting another opinion. It frightens me that they wanted you to take her home, now CHF. WTH???

Thank you so much for caring so much and for your love and compassion. To answer your question, no, there is no Vet School near me. There is a large Vet Hospital about an hour, maybe a little more, away, but she would never survive the trip, and also, I would not take her there anyway, as they wrote off my other baby Muffin, and told me she was going to die in a very short time due to Yorkie Encephalitis, all the time denying that she was poisoned by the rabies shot. I needed to go to a holistic Vet in order for Muffin to be cured. So I trust them less than I trust this ER Hospital. Actually, this hospital is usually very wonderful, and saved my babies lives countless numbers of times. Unfortunately, it is this one dare I say it, (moronic) doctor that is the problem. And she is on duty four days a week, while all the other wonderful fabulous Vets are on less than her, but in the past they have never failed me. They have only one in house Vet for daytime for four days, and the other three are with this wonderful Vet that went to school with my holistic Vet. She is coming on tonight and will be there till Wed. I am hoping and praying Cassie will be out of there by then, because while on O2, she would never survive the trip. | |

| Could you talk to your wonderful vets over the phone & get advice from them? You certainly deserve extra attention with all you've been going through. Who owns the vet clinic? Maybe you could contact someone higher up & they'd have an idea. My heart goes out to you & Cassie daily. Take care.
