I had a similar situation with my Yorkie. She had been throwing up and was very weak last Saturday a week ago. I took her to an emergency vet clinic in another town close by. The vet said he needed to perform surgery for a hernia. So we left her there for what he said is a routine procedure. The clinic called me the next morning and said she is ready to be picked up. We took her home and she began to get worse than before. I took her back and he said it's too late, there isn't anything he could do because infection had spread. He had to put her asleep. I'm a grown guy but I'm so depressed and sad. I had her for 8 years, slept on the bed with me and sit next to me in my recliner. If I hadn't taken her to this doctor she may still be a live. It was just a routine surgery procedure but they didn't take care of infection. |
