Hello my angels,
So sorry I haven't written lately, but between running every day to see Cassie, the north of 100 degree heat, Muffin being very needy and just complete and utter emotional exhaustion, I keep falling asleep before I have a chance to update, and then it is time to start the day again.

Let me cut to the quick: Cassie is doing a little better. She is eating more normally, and they have decreased her O2 from 40% to 35% and now to 30%.
Her x-rays are looking improved as well, as they were able to take updated pics, however, the nodular patter is still there, which worries the radiologist that there may be two things going on. They say the nodular pattern could be a weird kind of pneumonia, a fungus, or cancer. If the pattern clears up, then it was pneumonia, but it hasn't so far, if they test for a fungus and it is negative, then they are, needless to say, very concerned that it is Cancer. So I am still terrified, exhausted, and severely anxious, although I am very very grateful that she is improved and feeling a little better. I was able to put my arm inside the O2 tent and pet her for a very long time. She was very very excited at first, but then calmed down somewhat while I continued to stroke her gently and tell her how much I loved her. I went back again, when they had just lowered her O2 again, but I stayed in the back of the room, because they didn't want me to stress her out as her O2 was just lowered and they wanted her to remain calm to adjust to the new level. My holistic Vet had me brew up a homeopathic tincture that she says works wonders in life threatening cases, and I gave this to the doctors and nurses to give to her, for 3-5 days. So I am hopeful, but still trembling in my boots until I hear that the nodular patter is starting to go away. Muffin is missing her sister and wants to be held all the time, I don't blame her, she doesn't know what is happening and she knows things are scarily, but she doesn't know what. I try to comfort her as best I can when I am not with Cassie.

So far the Vet bills are North of $6300.00. YEOW!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I think that is it so far. Please keep praying for us, we need your prayers desperately. We are not out of the woods yet.
