Thanks for asking. I dropped her off this morning and just got the call that everything went perfectly and she is waking up. It's been a loooonnnnnggg 8 hours.

I am checking in to see how Eddie is doing. I hope he pooped. I would put the pumpkin in all his meals. I also use a little yogurt too. It helps with putting good bacteria back in his tummy

You can tell you're a dog person, when you post to send wishes for a dog to poop. Hope Eddie is back to his old self soon. He is a beautiful little fella.

LOL. I saw one of those Facebook old fashioned cartoons yesterday that said "Good friends talk about sex. Great friends talk about poop."

And since we obviously have so many great friends on YT, a news flash: EDDIE POOPED! I took him out when I woke up -- 48 hours after surgery -- and he initially refused. But after his morning meal -- his third since coming home -- he wanted to go outside. Amazingly, he still paced did his patented pooh dance on 3 legs, but he went not once but twice. I was in my bathrobe walking around bleary-eyed from sleep and let out a WHOOPIE! Loud enough to bring the neighbor out of the house wondering what was going on. She's just a friend, so my lips were sealed!

Thanks for the continued concern. He's doing great and already starting to get restless.

Thanks for the descriptive words.... I can picture you outside, in your robe, whooping it up that Eddie pooped. I know that is a concern when our little ones are put under anesthesia. It sounds like Eddie is on his way to a healthy, happy recovery.

Mike, my Gina had a severed CL and had surgery. Dr said the same thing about dogs having to have the other leg done because they put more pressure on the other leg. Sure enough 11 months she started limping on the other leg. It was not severed but torn. I did not want to put her through that surgery again so we kept her confined with no jumping and she was a jumper. She adjusted well and we never did do a second surgery. I hope you and Eddie can find a solution that serves him well. Good luck with your decision.

I often wonder WHY it is so necessary for them to dance it out. Jenna has to walk back and forth at least six times and turn at least three. Maybe she's working on some heavy math problem while she's performing her ablutions.

Things are still going well. He started testing out the bad leg today by putting a little weight on it during a leashed potty walk. I think that's a good thing.

Here he is today milking the pampered pooch angle. Poor Jillie! That's her spot.
