The power of all of us praying. May the healing power of Jesus surround this precious little dog and bring him back to health. May he be relieved of distress and be home well again . Trusting in Jesus Who hears our prayers.

Well, we made it through the weekend and the procedure. I was so worried, though. Yesterday evening, the diarrhea got worse and he didn't want to eat dinner. This morning, he starting throwing up. Not good signs. We were at the Dr's office early. They gave him human albumin to try to stabilize him this morning. Plasma would not work quickly enough and she said that dogs can have human albumin once only. Then around 2pm he had the procedure. He had some trouble breathing, so they got the biopsy sample quickly and also took some fluid off while he was under to help him breathe. After they woke him up they gave him steroids and electrolites. We got to go back and see him. He is staying in the hospital tonight and we will hear from her in the morning. There is someone with the pets in the hospital all night & they are connected by a door with the emergency vets next door. That doctor is there if needed, plus the internist said she lives 20 min. away and they can call her. So, my husband and I will catch up on our sleep tonight. We will have the biopsy results in a week. She said if it's lymphangiectasia, the villi will be oozing a milky looking substance. His weren't like that, but one portion were white on the tips. So I am hoping it is not cancer or lymphangiectasia. I learned that severe IBD can progress into lymphangiectasia. She also said that his issue is not congenital because it came on later in life. Thank you for all yours prayers.

Here is a picture of him in the hospital Monday after his procedure. He is wrapped in a blanket with hot water bottles. We spoke to him and called his name, but no response. Then I leaned in to kiss him and tell we love him and his eyes opened wide and he became alert. He didn't move, though. My husband called at 10pm Monday night to see how he was doing. The attendant said her shift started at 8pm and she thought he was doing better than the shift before her said he had been earlier, but he still has pretty bad diarrhea. He was scheduled to eat at midnight.

AWWWW that picture is just so precious. Prayers still continue. I hope he is feeling better today.
