| Your last post gave me hope and a reason to smile. I'm praying for Columbo and your family. I'm so sorry that he is so ill. I hope the doctors have a treatment plan after tomorrow and that he can be managed with diet and get well.

| It is so hard to click on threads about sick babies as you know they are so filled with pain and fear and usually a suffering dog. I've been following your thread and seeing how Colombo was doing each day, as it seemed like he was in a very bad place. But I, like to many others, am praying for a miracle and help for this little one and you just really never do know what the days ahead could bring. I hurt so for that baby having to go through this terrible condition and you and your husband right along with him - it's got to be such a painful time in everyone's life. I was so touched by your post about your husband sleeping downstairs with him. Speaks volumes about the love in this family. It sounds as if he's got plenty of love and care and is in good vet care and hope still can lie ahead for him. I wish there was something more I could do to help but praying and being here to offer you some support is all there is for now so I'm doing that along with all of us here. God be with you guys and that sweet baby boy.

| Praying for Bobo... an alternate way to pick him up would be to place one hand between his front legs, and the other hand between his hind legs, and lift slowly. This keeps any pressure off his tummy and may be more comfortable for him.
