| They do have a knack for giving us a heart attack! How is he doing and are you still cutting down the dose?

| He's at 75% right now. I could go down to 50% but I'm going to wait another week. I see absolutely no change in his behavior. No withdrawals or anything.

| Today marks the start of 5 weeks of tapering Max off his meds. We are at 50% of the original dosage and next week we will start 25%. So far I have seen absolutely no withdrawal symptoms or seizures. He is absolutely starving all the time though, which i think is unrelated as lowering his dosage should have the opposite effect! We are working on figuring that out. So we are still going strong!

| He was over 15 pounds at the 2 months ago. I got him down to 14.5 pounds because the vet said he could possibly lose a pound. I believe 14.5 pounds is his final weight. He was eating 1 cup of food per day and I lowered him to 2/3 per day to drop the weight. We just went back up to 1 cup yesterday. I'm not sure why he's so hungry. I believe it's just habit and he's playing games with me. I'm not giving in to the cookie begging anymore.

| He gets 1 or 2 little cookies and 1 or 2 baby carrots per day. His tummy is slightly sensitive so I hate to introduce anything new to them. I think it's out of boredom

| I'm so glad that Max is doing well with less medicine and that he is symptom-free. You are a great mom!
