| It wouldn't hurt to get another xray at this point. Did you tell the vet that she did vomit 5 hours after feeding her? If not, call her back and tell her. It's important that the vet is aware of that.

| The fact that there was blood of any amt in the stool clearly shows that there is at least 1 tear already. It has been my experience that when surgery is not done & the dog forced to try & expel the SHARP foreign body that an x-ray was taken daily to follow the object & make sure the object is moving through & not lodged somewhere in the intestine & x-ray can also show if their has been bleeding. |

| Only one symptom can indicate a problem...she doesn't have to be showing all three, or more. Okay, just where I worked the vets treated these types of cases a bit more proactively than yours is doing.

I'd be much more concerned with other symptoms, but I do think gi symptoms several days out warrants more investigation. I'm not sure why they are waiting a week to repeat the X-ray and maybe they have a good reason. But food moves through faster than that and there are bone hards in there. I'm surprised that they didn't have you come in today for an exam. I'd get confirmation that your pup is ok by another vet.

| Shes pooped out some stuff that looks similar to bone fragments. Hopefully she'll keep her food down today and she'll continue to pass them. I know some of you are saying I should see another vet. Im going to get her X-rayed on Monday again. See how that goes, if he continues to keep her on meds, Im taking her to another vet. |
