| Teddy update w/ pics Teddy improved a little over the past 6 hours. I took a few pics. In pic #1, you can see his red eye and swollen muzzle area. In Pic #2, both eyes are red and runny. And in Pic #3, where I am holding his neck - that looks like fat, but it isn't, it's a swollen throat that feels like a turkey wattle. teddyswolleneye.jpg teddyswolleneyes2.jpg teddyswollenneck.jpg

| I hope you can figure this out. That is worse than the reaction...not knowing how to prevent it. I am so sorry...so stressful for all of you.

| Glad Teddy is better although it must be a scared last night. FYI. I used to have a dog that have some sort of food allergy, kind of like human with the peanuts allergy thing? After so many episode, our vet have tested about food allergy (it's not always straight away after eaten the food, but hours later when my dog was very relaxed) , and we ended up have to cut off not having some "well known brand" of food. And our dog didn't have any episode since then. It's extremely scary and it's just a matter of getting emergency help within the time. Last edited by felix93; 03-05-2012 at 10:49 AM. |

| Cathy just reading this, my god I have never seen such a severe reaction. You are so good about keeping your cool and knowing exactly what to do. Poor Teddy, I sure hope he is feeling better. You have had such a full plate lately, I am sorry you have had so much going on with all the pups.
