| She is sleeping a lot because she is a baby. Do you remember when your daughter was an infant? She slept a lot, ate and pottied right? This pup needs the same thing. One way to keep your new puppy warm and comfortable is getting a snuggle puppy. Amazon.com: Brown Mutt Snuggle Puppy: Kitchen &... They have a heartbeat to keep them company and to give comfort, and a heating pad to keep them warm. Almost like she's back with her fur mom and siblings. Careful with the nutrical. All sugar highs lead to lows. Too much nutrical can lead to a complete crash (hypoglycemia). It is for emergencies only and in small quantities. Nutrical should not be used as a supplement. I don't know if it has been mentioned, but keep food available for her at all time. Keep with the feeding schedule as well. You can grind up kibble until it is almost a powder and have that available to her always. For meal times, you can make a mush. Equal parts distilled water and goats milk, with some karo syrup added. The exact recipe can be found in the breeders forum. That liquid formula can be added to some ground up kibble and offered at meal times. Good luck! If I were you, I'd be looking for a different vet. The vet gave a diagnosis, almost nonchalantly from what you said.

YT Addict | I had a problem with Riley eating at first. But he would eat out of my hand. As long as your happy that the vet did run all those tests and everything came back ok it seems your main problems is the eating. You are feeding her 6 times a day. Is anything getting in her. Hopefully she will eat more and more as your feedings progress. Please keep us posted. |

| keep feeding her, keeping her warm, but also i would recommend you find a new vet and try to find one that accepts care credit for the future. i say this because i also understand not having the extra funds to pay 1000 up front but you can get a care credit card that allows you to pay it all off over time and some vets accept them. www.carecredit.com try looking into getting one and finding a vet that accepts it. it'll save your life and your pups if you need emergency care and you can't afford the costs from it. good luck and praying she gets much better soon. |

I always suggest to ppl to call a vet's office and fill them out on how they would handle the situation before bothering to go there and getting such a laid back response and lack of concern on the vet's part! It's also nice to build a relationship with your vet's office. I ALWAYS take the girls out front something around the holidays, etc. This helps you in your time of need as well. My vet is one who fixes the problem at hand and never mentions money until it's all said and done. If you can't pay, they work with you! They are more about saving lives there! I know there has to be more vets out there like this as well. Last edited by angieNchloe; 09-20-2011 at 10:19 PM. Reason: adding | |

| I am so sorry. This has to be a terrible day for you. At least while Bella was here she was loved by you and knew what being loved and cared for felt like. God bless you for loving her and trying to help her.

| Awe I am so so so sorry. Poor little baby girl. Just know that you did all you could to help this little girl. You are an amazing person for all your work in trying to get this baby girl better. This baby was loved a lot and it's great that she was able to experience a human love like that even if it was for a short time.

| I just read the thread, and I am so sorry :/ It sounds like you did everything you could. And honestly Bella left home too early and too little and possibly already sick, and that is not your fault or your inlaws. It's the breeders. She should be responsible and know better. You did a great job giving Bella love and attention while you had her. I give you props on that! You loved her and tried hard, that's all that matters in the end. |
