She is sleeping a lot because she is a baby. Do you remember when your daughter was an infant? She slept a lot, ate and pottied right? This pup needs the same thing. One way to keep your new puppy warm and comfortable is getting a snuggle puppy. Amazon.com: Brown Mutt Snuggle Puppy: Kitchen &...Amazon.com: Brown Mutt Snuggle Puppy: Kitchen &... They have a heartbeat to keep them company and to give comfort, and a heating pad to keep them warm. Almost like she's back with her fur mom and siblings. Careful with the nutrical. All sugar highs lead to lows. Too much nutrical can lead to a complete crash (hypoglycemia). It is for emergencies only and in small quantities. Nutrical should not be used as a supplement. I don't know if it has been mentioned, but keep food available for her at all time. Keep with the feeding schedule as well. You can grind up kibble until it is almost a powder and have that available to her always. For meal times, you can make a mush. Equal parts distilled water and goats milk, with some karo syrup added. The exact recipe can be found in the breeders forum. That liquid formula can be added to some ground up kibble and offered at meal times.

Good luck! If I were you, I'd be looking for a different vet. The vet gave a diagnosis, almost nonchalantly from what you said.
