Bitsy's Mom - I also wanted to add that the vet tried Piccolo with just the Pentoxyphilline for the first week, because of my wishes. But because of the length of time she had gone untreated, she needed some pretty strong doses of predinose, so started that medicine the second week. The good news is all of this treatment worked and she has been in remission for at least three years. So, just wanted to give you some positive thoughts about the future for Emee.

I read your thread on Lexi...I am so sorry for your loss. It broke my heart reading the story and so close to home with my loss of Bitsy suddenly in April. I have questioned myself what I could have done different. I wished I would have then come to this group with my questions. Please don't second guess yourself though. I don't know if what Lexi had was the same as Emee. Especially since Emee had the lession from the shot. You don't want to remember her with your guilty clouding the memory. You were the best mommy and so was I. But we learn and I learned a lot from my experience with Bitsy. I will ask more questions now and if I don't get answers from my vet....I come here for more ideas. Please keep Lexi's memory special and know you were the best mommy.

| I am very happy that Emee is on her way to recovery. This thread is a great example of how helpful YT can be. Way to go LJ and Lisa and Pic, and others.
