Praying Wylie will be ok, bless his heart. I know you were scared. Hugs to you and Wylie. Happy to hear your husband survived his attack also, that had to be horrible for both of you.

Oh poor Wylie, I'm glad he's okay. We use to have them bad when we lived in Texas, to see my baby boy crawling on the floor and then see a scorpion next to him was such a scary thing. So far I haven't seen any here, but knock on wood. By the way, I've heard that daytime spraying is largely ineffective, but I guess many companies do it anyway. http://cals.arizona.edu/pubs/insects/az1223.pdf

The article you linked indicates nighttime collecting as the most effective method of combating the critters. If a pest control company were willing to do such a thing, how often would that have to be done? Very frustrating situation.

My heart feels for both of you, Ann. You must be so worried, and I'm glad that Wylie is doing okay. That poor little baby! I remember how scary your experience was last year with your husband. It's so upsetting that there are times it's not possible to protect a loved one, no matter how hard you try. Give your little boy some extra kisses from me tonight. I am sooo sorry this happened to him...how scary!!! I freaked out when a fly was on Lucy's face by her eye...nasty insects!!!
I hope Wylie is doing okay!!! I will keep him in my prayers. Please let us know how he is doing!!!

I will hurt myself trying to get away from most.

Glad Wylie is okay.

I don't know what kind of scorpions you have but I seen one at a freinds house last week and I got so freaked out but I had to get it up and flush it. I was feeding her dogs and Chinchilla and didn't want to leave it. Gross me out bad. She said it was the second one she had seen. Calling bug man.
