I have tears for you..praying for her recovery. This woman seems truely sorry for her actions. i would say she certainly learned a lesson there. if she pays the bills perhaps she should be forgiven. but otherwise if she does not i would certainly make this report. you are very lucky that you were not struck also or your child

I'm praying hard. Hope the driver looses the cell phone, they can't drive and talk too. It's against the law here in California, but they still do it.

SOoooooo glad that baby girl made it thru the night. At least that is encourageing. I would still file a report and then at least that way you may be assured your vet bills will be paid. Please, and I know you will, keep us informed on little Pixie's recovery. We care and praying for the best.

I hope little Pixie is feeling less pain very soon. Bless her little heart. It's just so sad that she was healthy and happy yesterday until that idiot came driving up on the sidewalk!:(

It was so good to hear she made it through that long night and I know she's got a long way to go but it says to me she's got a lot of fight and she had good initial surgical/medical treatment. I believe in the power of prayer and know we will all keep praying and thinking of Pixie and you throughout the day. Keep your chin up, try to keep yourself as calm as you can for your own sake and hers and just know how much your fellow YT'ers care. We're all Pulling For Pixie!

wow...i am so very sorry that this happened to your little one....Thank God the two of you werent hit! Poor little baby, ....i will keep her in my prayers for a complete recovery....it sounds like it will be a long one with the extent of her injuries, but, she sounds like she has spunk and fight in her...God Bless and watch over little Pixie...:) Hugs to you and prayers for strength!!

I just got back from seeing Miss Muffett again. She seems more alert this afternoon and they said there has been no crying. That leads me to believe they have a handle on her pain. They did an ultrasound and she has no sign of bleeding in her belly. I even got to hold her for a few moments, it felt so good to have her in my arms again....I can't even tell you how good.

Thank you so much for your prayers i cannot tell you how appreciated they have been. It has been a very rough 24 hours but I think and pray we are through the worst of it. I know she will have a long road to recovery ahead of her, but she has gotten thru the worst.
