Sending PRAYERS for Pixie & You! I am so sorry this happened to yr little girl. I cannot imagine what you went through at the time of the accident. Thank God you were a wonderful mommie & got her immediate medical help the fastest way possible. I hope & pray that Pixie will pull through this. HUGS!

I wish I could do more, but all I can do is send prayers for your sweet little girl and hugs for you. That is so heartbreaking that you were just out walking and enjoying the day, when along came a maniac on a cell phone. I feel the same as you about people using cell phones/texting while driving. They are very dangerous! I feel like your little girl will be ok. It's just a feeling. I can't explain it. I'm glad they moved her to the hospital.

How scary that a car left the road ~ and came up on the sidewalk and hit your girl. Prayers for a full recovery for her.

Oh no, this is so frightening. I pray that Pixie will make it thru the night, and continue on to recover from this horrible ordeal.

Wow! You have some wonderful vets there! I've never heard of the hospital offering to move a patient... that's some outstanding people caring for your baby!

Just read this whole thread, and then read it out loud to the DH and Gizzy. We're all praying for you and for Pixie. Glad that was is being given wonderful hospital care.

Please keep us updated!

By the way, you were a heck of alot nicer person then I would have been to the dumb bimbo that hit your baby. I would have shoved that cell phone where the sun doesn't shine. :mad:

I am keeping Pixie in my prayers. I am glad she will be where she can get immediate attention should she need it. Hopefully she will have an uneventful night.

What a horrible, horrible thing to happen to your baby. I hope you got all that girl's info and she doesn't try to get out of paying your vet bill. IMO she should be respondsible for any reacurring problems due to this in the future if anything happens. I have already prayed for little Pixie and I hope with everything in me she makes it and does fine. I know you must be a basket case but sounds like you have some good vets taking care of that baby. God bless ya and little Pixie and may the Lord heal her completely.

Pixie made it thru the night. I am on my way to see her now but I feel like I can breathe a little bit easier now. The docotr that was with her all night said she had a few times where she cried but other than that the night was pretty uneventful. Thank God for that.

I will update when I get back from seeing her.

This thread is one of the most touching items I have ever read.

I have now finished reading every post in it and I have a very wet face which is something we men do not admit to easily.

The way I read it is that there was a very nasty accident caused by a person using a phone.

Right now that is a secondary concern as this has happened and one of our children is hurt that is the only important point right now. The driver can be looked at later.

My heart and thoughts are with you in your hours of need along with the love and kindness shown by all other forum members who have responded to you.

This is the forum at it's best as we all close ranks when situations like this happen.
This is our love for our children and our respect for our fellow members along with the reason for me joining the club.

I hope your loved one makes a full recovery and the road to the finishing post is not too long.

This is heart breaking. !!!!!
