| milkthistle and liver cancer... what do you know about milk thistle and liver cancer, any experience out there, if yes how much? |

| I don't know about the use of milk thistle specifically for liver cancer, but milk thistle is used for liver compromised dogs. Our dog takes the product Marin and the dose is 1/4 tablet once a day with food. Be careful with milk thistle you find in the stores as it is not always the right portion of milk thistle and also is loaded with alcohol most of the time. Good luck.

| My Tinkerbell is on Denamarin from the vet, it comes in 3 sizes. She's 14 pounds so she takes one tablet of the Medium on an empty stomach once daily an hour before a meal after fasting all night. It contains the active ingredients in milk thistle and Sam-E, and helps with cleansing toxins from the liver, and liver cell regeneration. She does not have liver cancer, so I would ask the vet before using anything...
