| Little man Basil is having a good day. Playing with his toys in his Pen, eating well, and barking to let me know it is time for him to go outside. He slept well last night, and work me up this morning at 0700 to go out and eat. Tomorrow Basil goes to the Vet to have his cast and leg looked at. Marge returns tonight from her trip, and can't wait. It sure does run a lot smoother here when sshe is around. We will visit her parents tomorrow evening. They are doing better, but still scared. Nothing will change that. |

| I'm so glad to hear Basil is doing well. I'll be thinking of him tomorrow during his vet visit.

| Steve, this weekend is certainly going to be better than the last. Hope Basil is healing up nicely, and that life will feel more like normal for all of you soon.

| Little Basil sounds like he's making do with his cast. He's playing and still enjoying life, even though it is in a smaller world. I hope he has a good report from the vet. I'm sure you're going to be thrilled to have Marge home. I hope her parents continue to do better everyday.

| I feel bad. Those people did more than ransack your inlaw's house. They took their away their felling of security in their own home.

| I agree, and that is why I should be elected the nations Chief Jailer Officer. I would immediately close down 90% of the jails in this country. There would be no long term prisioners. Those conviced of serious crimes would not even have time to be issued prision garb. I will not go into detail here as to not offend anyone. Imagine the money spent on each prisioner each year, that we pay for. Yes, I would offer a real deterent and wake up call to those coaught after they see how I would operate. Damn the ACLU and full speed ahead. Justice with a price. |

| Steve, I have to agree with you about our system. I swear we are way too lenient on criminals. It is bothersome. Many come out of jail and commit a crime just so they can go back....beats being responsible I guess. Let the taxpayers pay. Hope Basil's check up goes well.

When my house was burglarized, we were pretty much told if they were caught nothing would happen to them. Basically a slap on the wrist. They took over $40000.00 worth of stuff and our feeling of safety. They permanently scarred my children. And they permanently scarred me. I have had battle after battle with trying to go on and forget it. However, I think it will remain with me for a long time. The sad thing is they were never caught anyway. I can't tell you how it feels to come home to a situation like this. For your inlaws, it will be even harder I am sure. I am so sorry they are having to deal with this. Steve, you would have my vote. So, when are you running?
