| I'm glad there's a bit of good news in this with the kidney stones. You and Tink are still in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Bonny

| Im sorry to hear that you are going through this. Calvin had his liver shunt surgery, bladder stone surgery and was neutered in September. The total cost was just over $3,000 for everything. He is doing great now. Gained some weight and is going in a couple of weeks to have his 6 month blood work. When I was researching different options I also came up with University of Pennsylvania, not Penn State, but I think they were around $4,000 too. |

| As you were there for me, I am here for you. I couldn't have gotten through this without you. Prayers for Tink and for you. Everything will be just fine. We are 5 weeks past this and Lily is shining !!!! Your Tink will be right next to her shortly doing just as well. It will be a rough road the week of the surgery, but you have so much knowledge and love that will lead you through this, not to worry. I know everything will fall into place and you will find the right surgeon and she will be on her way to new healthy life. |

| Just found your thread. Poor little Tink. I hope she does well and hope that her surgery and post-op course are uneventful and completely successful. Dummy that I am, I had only heard the phrase "liver shunt" before finding YT and now after reading some of the threads, my heart just goes out to all of the YT poor babies and mommie and daddies going through treatment for this. Thank goodness little Tink can get some help and I thank God we have such accomplished vets and vet hospitals now as I can only wonder what used to happen to dogs diagnosed with this. Prayers for Tink and all of the others who have gone/are going through treatment for this. |

| Well, Tink's surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I drop her off between 7 and 8 AM... he'll call probably around noon to let me know how she's doing. O Boy. I feel like throwing up right about now. Going to UT was a dream for me... but to think I could ever get her there, well, I have to face reality. So we're here, and she'll get it done. Tomorrow. Stays there for 72 hours, then can come home to rest for 2 weeks. One good thing, the place is a Pet ER too. They did do bloodwork today...
