Heartworm drugs are actually a cure, not a prevention. Sentinel would kill any larvae at a certain stage and then the drug leaves the system. It is done about once every 30 days because of the stages that the larvae goes thorough.

From what I understand, the new ones are both, a cure and a preventative. From what the OP posted earlier, it is not out of their system in 4 days.

You are assuming it is the sentinel causing this when it hasnt been proven. you told me not to assume now your doing the same thing

Personally, I still think this breeder is more worried about her livelihood than the health of Max. I could be dead wrong, but some of the things you reported that she said does not make me view her in a very nice light.

Don't know who she is and honestly I am not sure I want to know. I am sure her friends will attest to her being wonderful, but I have seen people speak up for others where pups were in deplorable conditions. We have all seen news reports of people being busted and their friends saying how wonderful they are.

Besides, conditions are only part of the whole picture.
