He was not given vaccinations on monday because his first set was only 2 weeks ago. i don't think it would be a pill. max weighs 4.1 and he is 10 weeks.

i did give him his first sentinel pill on monday.

There is no excuse for her to not take the puppy back. If she will not work with you then you need to write up a review on her but you need to wait until you know what is wrong with your pup. Is the pup home with you now? How is he doing?

He is home. He is very very active and playing by himself and with Cooper. He seems fine except for these occurrences. The vet says that the episodes scare me but probably don't bother him.

I'm uploading a video of one of the occurrences to youtube and will post here.

Yes LS symptoms are seen at random intervals. What exactly does her guarantee say?

I'm so sorry. Definitely praying that it's something different and that your vet can treat it easily.

I'm gonna assume she doesn't have the degree in veternary medicine to make that determination ....left untreated it is indeed life threatening.

The bile acid test won't diagnose a shunt...it just tells you whether or not additional testing is necessary.

I am glad he is doing okay for now. It is possible he had a reaction to the Sentinel pill. Did you mention to the vet you gave him the pill? Here is a list of some of the side effects:

Oh, I'm so hoping that you get good news. My Lucy has mild MVD and does not require surgery, etc; we control with diet alone. Try not to think the worst until you get your test results back and go from there.

I'd call them and tell them that you gave Max a Sentinel on Monday and Tuesday is when this all came about . . .I would think that his little episodes would of begun when you first got him . . .it is just too much of a coincidence that he was fine, he had a pill, and now he's not . . .Call the vet back and tell them.

I will call now. The vet however said that it's possible that LP developed on Tuesday??? He said it could develop at anytime. The breeder has the dogs playing in her living room and never once saw anything unusual.
