Glad to hear Layla is feeling better! Hugs to you all! |
Happy to hear Layla is feeling better! :) |
So glad to hear Layla is back to her old self! It does a heart good to hear news like this! |
Oh, Lindsay! Thank you so much for sharing your story. I just found it today and have been sitting here reading all your posts when I should have been working. Guess I can put in a few extra hours tonight to make up for it. What an inspiring story. You articulated the feelings all pet owners who really love their pets go through when something is wrong. I went through some of these ups and downs with my Bungee when her health started to fail. One day when she'd be doing a little better I would be elated, only to crash when she got worse. I think Layla is a very lucky dog to have found someone who would take such good care of her and still love her despite her problems. |
I am so happy and relieved to hear that Layla is feeling better. |
I'm so happy Layla is feeling better!!!!!! |

awww glad to hear Layla is feeling better! What a sweetie pie she is! :) |
Where's Layla?:) |
:D Layla's at rehab today. Last night she got a good soak in the tub and now she has no more eye goobers lol. Scott did a good job on her :) She smelled so good and felt so soft this morning! On the weekend we left town for a party for Scott's aunt and uncle's anniversary. We decided to take Lay with us. She was a hit! One woman told me her brother's german shepherd lived many years in a cart too! In between visiting we went for a walk around the farm. Well, Layla's no farm dog lol. We went out to the little barn to see the new baby kittens, but Layla got a little too close to the doorway and the mama cat jumped and hissed at her! Poor Layla backed up so fast she tipped over :( Then we got the heck out of there and back to the people lol. She had so much excitement, she slept the whole two hours home, and then slept all night. I took some video of her about a month ago now that I need to put up one of these days! |
awww please do! My dogs love to chase my bunny when she's in the yard. She's a BIG bunny though, bigger than Dexter by a lot! Whenever she chases him she runs under her bush and usually if he follows I hear him yelp and run out with her hot on his tail! With your story about Layla getting too close to the cat it reminded me of my Dexter getting too close to the bunny! :) They are funny! |
Like I said before, Layla has a fun life, cart or no cart. I'm glad she gets to experience life out there!:D |
That's cute about the bunny! I thought about getting one years ago for Layla to play with lol. Well when we picked up Layla today, I found out the REAL reason she gets so excited to go to rehab! As we were getting into the car, a tech saw us and asked if she's our little girl. She told us that there's a little yorkie boy named Benjamin who only has three legs, and she has held him up to Layla's cage so they can sniff each other and they really like each other :) How cute! Layla has a rehab boyfriend! |

I'm not kidding when I say they know when they see another yorkie! How cute! Am I the only one that believes this? |
