As for me wondering why people think I am cruel, rude and mean....hahaha you are wrong on that one. I don't give a d*** what people say about me. I know who I am and what I do.:)

This was all started to bash rescue this morning and I threw it back at you who is more responsible than I. I have NEVER made a nickel off the back of any dog. Not to say it is wrong...just wrong for those who do to try to make rescue responsible for ALL of the messes.

Seriously, what is your point? I breed therefor I am rolling in dough? Did you look at my dogs page and see how many I actually have and how many litters I have (1 litter and 1 on the way), and none again until the end of the year. Every dime goes back to my dogs for their care.

I would like to keep this thread open bc there is a very sick dog at the center of it about whom people care, and there is still the possibility of updates, and there are still efforts going on behind the scenes to get her HELP.

For those who cannot focus on Roriee, you need to step away from this thread.

My point is that you were very vocal about another breeder doing that. :)

Bottom line, Karla. You breed for money. Dogs come from breeders and rescues are picking up the pieces. YOU say we should pay for the dogs when the people breeders sell to people who cannot pay for their vetting... *I* say that the breeders should pay. :)

These people who are flame throwing have probably never picked up the phone about her or tried to help in any way. This is another attempt to bash rescue. Shameful.

I know people who are trying to help and I have tried.

The problem NOW is that this girl says there is a miracle today....She posted on the Yahoo group that Roriee is walking, wagging her tail and barking.

I have asked people to reach out to her but she is now saying the pup is cured.

Thanks so much Ann, can you find the video of Blue Boy or of someone elses dog that was Diagnosed with AAI? I cant remember the name but the video sticks in my mind. I think it may help her realize there is HOPE if she has the right people and medical treatment in place. Lots of People worried about this pup and its bringing out lot of emotion. Lissette

Merely pasting words from YOUR website. You asked why rescues don't pay for people's vet bills and I told you who I think is responsible.

So many of us know what you have tried to do behind the scenes just for this one pup. What you offered could have made all the difference. And like you mention, others are also working behind the scenes, but I don't know if this will do any good.

Rescues do this for the love of the pups, and there is really not enough gratitude in the world for what you all do. Just know that many of us understand what you and many others here do for these babies :).

Well, this one I tried as an individual since she was clearly not going to allow rescue to help. I hope others who are so vocal are doing the same...maybe she will accept their help.

I do help. and I take in dogs..Have one now I took in..I also help with my local cocker rescue.....you don't know me..I questioned why cannot the rescue help without her having to give up her dog. when she bought it she had a job, she never expected to lose her job and get cancer, did she? so ladyjane putting her down is just cruel..

P.S. How do you know this lady has cancer..just exactly what do you know? Many people have spent a lot of time to get to the truth...you have done nothing...:mad:

I for one know what you've been doing for this wee one. And also know what you go through on a daily basis. I understand the mental/emotional agony you go through with each rescue. Everytime you work with a rescue that requires major medical attention, due to thoughtless breeding, your heart breaks and makes you angrier at the humans that are doing this.

Know that there are those of that appreciate what you do and understand what you go through and how it affects you. But, you do it for the love of the animal.

Cruel! Your kidding right! You gotta understand, when you are in rescue you see some horrible things that come from irresponsible byb and mill. I ask you, Where did this puppy come from? Answer, BYB. Guess who is cleaning up the mess? Rescues or the Pound when they are PTS. So you say cruel? Cruel is not being responsible and taking care of whats in front of you. Also, I have some Bills that need to be paid, can you help me? Isn't that what you want from the rescues!

I dont think i have ever read such a heart breaking thread as this :( I know we can pray but prayer only offers so much, This baby needs much more then prayer its self , I did not see the photos that were mentioned and but i have a image in my mind of a baby in pain, when i had to let go of my beloved jasp

Thank you for posting that LJ. I don't know what to make of it, but it seems like she's going her own way with Roriee. All I can say is I wish her luck. It's very upsetting and that dog has been on my mind for days. Very sad case all around.

It certainly makes you wonder...we know there was a dog 5 months ago..but the one vet has never seen the dog again. Many of her websites to raise $$$ are still up...we know she never setup a fund with the vet...we know she didn't get the proper paperwork to even apply for financial aid...

It just doesn't make any sense what this woman is doing...How many forums is she on..???

Two dogs she had are no longer in her home..what happened to them? Toss aways...

It is very difficult to really believe everything this woman says.

I understand that everyone's emotions are running high; this is just so heart wrenching, but I believe that many of us are really on the same side. To those who are still in contact with the owner, could you please get the vet's name who has treated this dog? If no vet's name comes up soon, I think we should believe that the story is a hoax. How many times do we have to request a vets name?
