| I am so sorry you and Armani are going through this. I hope you have a specialist in your area that you will be able to bring Armani too. My prayers are with you both.

| Thank you all for your kind words! Armani is home right now and he's doing okay. I have his report from the vet so I will post that here in a few & maybe someone can tell me what it means? I hate to admit this, but this morning I was trying to think about what could have happened to Armani...and then it hit me...I accidentally sat on him last night and I checked him out and he seemed just fine so i didn't think anything of it. Armani is like my shadow, he goes where I go, and I was on the computer and usually he sits on my lap but he just started going behind me and laying there. I got up to get my phone & came back and sat down right on him. my husband was home with him when i left and said he was fine....said he had the runs but he didn't notice anything else that was off....and just for the record i don't need anyone giving me the i should have been more careful speech....i already feel bad enough so keep your negative comments to yourself. I spoke with the vet today to fill her in on what i thought hurt him and she agreed that thats probably what did it. Armani is doing pretty good right now. He's been eating & drinking just fine, he's peeing and theres no blood in it. he's on meds for his eye and it's already looking better. I'm not sure if he can see...the vet said he was unresponsive to light but i know he can hear...she said it could have been the meds that she used to dilate his eye so my vet will recheck that Monday. All in all he seems okay but i am keeping a VERY close eye on him like the vet told me....Even with Armani not feeling well he still has to be with me. He's sleeping on my lap right now. This whole thing has been a nightmare, but for now i'm just thankful he's stable. I've been beating myself up and i'm completely drained. Armani is like one of my kids and I hurt him....it's the worst feeling in the whole world. Thank you again for all your kind words. please continue to keep Armani in your thoughts & prayers...he could really use it. |

| That is wonderful news that he is well enough to be home with you! You cannot beat yourself up over it. It is not like you were being careless. Accidents happen. I have had things happen to me that totally scared the beegeebees out of me...I shut a door on one of my pups one day. Thankfully, she was ok...I think I was more traumatized than she was. I cried all of the way to the vet. She was fine. Things can happen in an instant and anyone who says otherwise is lying. What a terribly frightening thing to go through. Now, if you said that you put him up on an 8 foot ledge and left him and he jumped off and got hurt....I don't call those things accidents. Ya know? Give him lots of belly rubs and tell him lots of people wish him a speedy and complete recovery!

| I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. I am one of those people that will drive myself crazy with guilt even though people tell me accidents happen. I know they do but it is hard to make my heart believe it. The thing is they do happen so do not beat yourself up over it. Many times we have come close to stepping on our babies and hubby comes close to sitting on them occasionally. It is a fact of life that they love being as close as possible to you and it is only a matter of time before an accident happens I think. But they are just accidents.

| Omg, I am so sorry you are going through this. Its not your fault, things just happen sometimes. I know you feel bad, but truly you didn't mean to hurt your baby. He has already forgiven you, You need to let it go too. Just give him extra love and hopefully all will be well again very soon. |

| I'm so sorry. Stop blaming yourself. It was just one of those things that happen and right now you just want to do everything you can to help Armani get well. If you are feeling bad, then he will sense it and that won't be good for him. We're all saying prayers and hoping Armani gets well soon.

| I am so, so sorry you and Armani are going through this. My prayers go out to you. As others have said, I know you feel terrible. Anyone would, but it was an accident. Just remember, regardless, you are the best thing that has ever happened to Armani. He is the light of your life as is you being his. Just a brief story. My husband and I were in a terrible motorcycle accident in the fall of 2008. Michael sustained a traumatic brain injury and went into a coma. If he lived, he would never walk or talk again. About a half-hour ago, I dropped him off two miles down the road because he felt like going for a walk. With faith in God and love, anything can happen. |
