| Our first bulldog was electrocuted. She vomitted alot but did not have noticeable burns in or around her mouth. She did go into pulmonary edema which in the end took her life. I really hope that Armani continues to improve! It is so hard when our furbabies get hurt! Quote:

| Sending big hugs to you and Armani & Zeus sends his puppy kisses! I can imagine the guilt you feel because I too hurt my baby when we first got him and I still cry to tell that story. I dropped him on my tile floor Trust me they are very resilent and accidents happen. No one blames you. I am sure most of us have some story or another that we will always live to regret. A suggestion when you finally do bathe Armani. Since he loves warm showers with you maybe you can put a couple of towels in the dryer and have your husband bring them to you when you are ready to get out. We do this for Zeus after his bath's and we make the house nice and toasty. I hope you both heal soon. |

| The vet's office was booked today so we will go tomorrow. I'm 100% sure that me sitting on him caused his injuries. I sat down pretty hard and it took me a few seconds before i even realized i was sitting on Armani. I stood up & checked him over real fast and didn't notice anything so I went back to playing on the computer and I was getting ready to head out to do some shopping. Armani will only go to me and if i'm gone he will usually hide from my husband and my kids so for my husband not to notice anything wrong with him is normal. My husband just said he had the runs so he gave him a bath. When i got home Armani was no where to be found so i went looking for him and noticed all of his symptoms. Armani is only 6 months and he currently weighs 2lbs 6oz so he is just a little guy. i'm 105 pounds which doesn't seem like a lot, but to a 2lb puppy i'm sure it felt like a lot! When I thought about what happened it all made sense...i sat on his head and that's where his injuries were...mostly the left side which makes sense to me as well. Anyways, Armani is still improving and i'm actually blown away! He's starting to look more like himself, he's still eating & drinking. I haven't noticed any blood in his urine or his poo (which is AWESOME) he did have the runs today, just once but i think it's from the sudden change in his diet...right now he's on wet food because he was having problems using the left side of his mouth to chew with...but i'm starting to add more and more dry food mixed in with the wet food and he's doing really well. He's up moving around & is back to following me around the house. He still is a little off balanced but only on the left side...i'm not sure if it's a neurological issue or if it's just from the swelling in his eye? or if he is having vision problems in his left eye? I'm just thankful he's doing so well! I did give him a bath today because he was in his kennel when he had the runs so i had to get that off of him....and he did okay i actually did heat some towels up so that he wouldn't get too cold & i could tell he enjoyed it! he didn't spend 30 mins shaking like usual so i'm definitely going to do that from now on! I will update again after Armani's trip to the vet! I'm thinking it should be good news & if it's not all good i know we can manage...i'm just so thankful he's still here with me....I couldn't imagine losing him. He really is one of the family...so i'm going to do whatever it takes to get him back to 100% Kari & Armani |

| Updates?? Just wondering if the vet checked Armani, and how he's doing. Can't get this little one off my mind and hope he makes a full recover.

| I haven't been on in a while but i thought i would update on Armani. He's doing GREAT! The ONLY issue he is having is he did lose most of his sight in his left eye. But besides that, he's 100%!! I REALLY thought he wouldn't bounce back from this...I will never forget coming home and seeing him the way he was but i am so blessed that he's perfectly fine! Thank you all SO much for you prayers...they did wonders on my baby! *Kari & Armani |

When I had my stroke back in Sept 08, Tigger did not want to leave my side cept for the stay at the hospital. I was out in the garage and Tiggy was waiting at the door for me. I went to pick him up (my right arm & hand is paralyzed from the stroke) ans dropped him on his head on the ceramic tileHe just layed there for aboput 5 minutes without moving!I started screaming and felt so bad, I refused to pick him up again for fear I would drop him again. I took forever til I finally felt comfortable enough holding him again
