to replenish her body; you can give her 100% coconut water (from whole foods); it has all the electrolite and can sooth her tummy take it easy

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I would also be suspicious of systemic yeast here (not just local). She could also have a GI bug going on, in addition to the yeast. Can she have ant-fungals like Diflucan? If you think this is yeast, I would suggest that - it can be compounded, btw.

| no she is not rubbing her vulva anymore and the diarhea did not start until she went to vet and this has been something that happens after each vet appt diarhea as she gets stress colitis every time now since she took metacam with steroids her intestines have never been the same - I think it was just her allergies aggravating that area as now she is not rubbing it at all - so frustrted I jumped the gun should have waited another day so much for trying to do the right thing |

| If I give mine too much probiotics, they get diareha. But now that I am giving the VSL#3 and it is specifically for IBD issues, it starts to work asap. You can order online at there websit, but they only ship Monday to Wednesday. Or you can have your vet write a script and get it at CVS or if you look at the VSL site and see where else u cam locally buy it ( you don't need an RX if you order it online though) |

| VSL#3 is a Probiotic for Humans with IBD. Take a look at their website for more in depth info. TJ is 7 lbs and Roxy is 5 lbs. To start they are both getting 1/20 th of the packet daily. Bed bath & beyond sells these tiny, tiny measuring spoons and I have figured the one that says "pinch" works when I measure out the 1/20th. The price online for the box of 10 is about $25 and includes shiping. They only ship Monday thru Weds and once you get it, put it right in the fridge. |
