| Just got back from visiting her and she is doing much better... She was out of the oxygen incubator for 30 mins and did well...fingers crossed. She ate a teaspoon of her homemade dog food cause she wouldn't eat anything for them, and she drank a whole lot of water...the vet was amazed at how she perked up for me. She says if all goes well I can take her home with very close supervision tonight and see how she does. They also made an appointment with a cardiologist that comes up twice a month from Boston for Thursday (I have surgery on Wednesday but I will drag myself there if I have to). Can't wait to go pick her up...thank you for all the prayers, now hopefully an uneventful weekend and good news on Thursday. T |

| I am glad Emma might get to come home tonight. Sounds like she is missing her momma. I will still be praying for her that she continues to do better.

| Keeping little Emma in my prayers [and you, as well]. Our Toto was her size at that age and I know how terrifying it can be. She is now 6 1/2 years and a whopping 5 lbs. 1 oz. and still a little overweight according to her vet. She is also very healthy and that's what I am praying for Emma!! God bless you and your sweet baby.

| We were able to take her home last night and she did great...we got up with her every 2 hours and every time she moved. I brought her into the bathroom, did a steam treatment for her and helped her little body clear some of the pneumonia out. We were at the vet this am and had her IV catheter removed. She is eating great and drinking too. When we got home this today I put her down to go potty on the potty pad then she wobbled over to her bed...so darn cute... I brought her bed into the kitchen where I am and she is sleeping soundly and happily. No matter what I spent on the past 2 days (I could have purchased all new appliances for sure) she is worth every penny. When I got to hold her last night to bring her home, seeing her little tail wag and the great big kiss she gave me, I would have sold my home to pay for her care...I cried and I am sure the vet did too.. I have spent many hours on this laptop searching and have decided that I will never be caught without oxygen again!! I have ordered an incubator and oxygen concentrator for the home. As a breeder it will be useful to help save those gasping puppies and also for the emergency CPR rescues and to transport to the emergency vet with if that need ever arises again. My vet was all for it and said she doesn't even have that type of equipment!! I told her that she better get it cause if it is daytime I might be showing up on her door step some day. I wanted to send out great big hugs to all my new yorkie friends for all the prayers that in my opinion helped Emma get home and let me hold my baby again. |

| Thank God she is doing ok, and home with her very caring mom! I know how you feel about being worth every penny to make them well; I feel the same about my furbabies, and only wish every pet owner felt the same.
