What a relief to read little Emma did great during her surgery. I can't imagine the fear you were going threw while waiting. Having so much done at the same time on such a tiny little one will give other's a good feeling if they have to go threw it too. Fell better soon Emma.

I was so happy and relieved when I saw that Emma is home. She is so precious! At the age of ten, we discovered that my little girl has an enlarged heart. She takes medication for it, but she is almost 17 now. I am very careful with her when it is hot out, and I only take her for walks in the morning and evening during the summer. I am sure her doctor will give you very good advice on how to help her.

It was the liquid and boy I can tell you from experience that that liquid is aweful stuff. When doing CPR on her the medication was coming out of her nose and in my mouth. Worse tasting stuff...that and Flagyl... ever. I now mix the clindamycin with Dyne and put it in Ensure...she drinks it right down. We did find out that she has an incomplete closure of her soft palate. Vet found that when pulling teeth, which is why she aspirated the clindamyacin. So no more liquid meds for her unless it is mixed and she chooses to take it. So thank you dwerten and I will be checking into the tabs as I never want to deal with the nasty liquid again!! Poor little things... BTW she is doing great!! She is playing now and wants to chew on my fingers and even woofed this am! She is eating great and thanks everyone for the well wishes..she is watching the cursor when I type..
