| ![]() well his food has changed 2ce recently. when i got him about a month ago i had no idea what he was on so i gave him eukanuba like i do for spice my pom. Then the throw up started, so i was worried he was allergic and switched him to Purina for sensitive systems...which made him WAY WORSE! he threw up a ton more, so as of last mon he is completely back on eukanuba. i think he was on the purina when i got the xray done, which showed a bunch of gas in his stomach. He still burps like ALL the time when he eats...and sometimes when he drinks or randomly. I think the gas may be the cause of the throw up cuz he only does it if he eats too much at once ( my pom has no prob eating her whole meal at once). And it makes sense just like a person if you are bloated and gassy and eat too much, you'll blow. lol so ya. the eukanuba has chicken and what not in it..i know some ppl say thats bad, and some say good..but like i said the purina was salmon and it was TERRIBLE for him... |

| ![]() My yorkie is almost 17, and she is getting too much air into her stomach. Her doctor recommended that we try giving her 1/4 tablet of gas-x. Since it is easier to give her liquid medicines, I got baby gas-x, and I am giving her the dosage for a baby that is on the bottle. We started giving it to her 2 weeks ago, and it seems to have helped her. I really hope things get better for you and Timmy. |

| ![]() TIMMY HAS WORMS!!! i am so grossed out! they supposedly dewormed him at shelter..and i dewormed him a week after i got him b/c the shelter thought some of the dogs there had whipworm...that was 2-3 wks ago and i saw worms in his poo for the first time this morning! EWW! I also started him on Interceptor Feb 20th, which protects and controls some worms. Spice has no signs of them in her poo, but she has been on interceptor for 2-3 yrs now, so she should be good theoretically. On the plus side, the vet said this could be the reason timmy throws up when he eats...so deworming may solve that problem ![]() ![]() |

| ![]() This is fixable! He will not have them for long and maybe he will be cured! ![]() I know they are gross, but, if he were mine, I would rather he have them than a lot of other things I can think of. I hope this is the FIX! ![]()

| ![]() Took the stool samples in and the vet couldnt find a thing! He said he didnt see any worms or any eggs at all in either spice or timmy's poo. I think thats weird b/c i saw moving worms in timmy's yesterday morning. I guess it doesnt matter he gave me the pill for it anyway and timmy ate it this morning with his food. They said it should cure it all up w/o any followup wormings...so i hope thats true. But i may buy an over the counter one in a month anyway. After its gone we should be fine b/c he'll be on interceptor. Hope we get those nasty things out of him once and for all! and solve this throw up problem at the same time would be AWESOME! |

| ![]() It was probably tapeworms....they are often not detected. Did he give you Drontal? If so, that will fix it! They get them from ingesting fleas.
