| ![]() Yes thats what the vet said and thats why she put her on antibiotics for now until we see her blood results which she will be doing this week. I'm just really glad that she is back to her normal self, its great to see her playing with her toys and very energetic ![]() |

| ![]() I am so glad your baby is feeling better. I just had my girl spayed this last week and my vet called to tell me my girl had pyometra. He first thought she was pregnant because of the enlarged uterus, but I told him that was impossible. Turned out to be full of infection. It is a serious infection, and we were very lucky to have found it, so I am glad your baby is doing well and is on antibiotics.

| ![]() My girl will be three this April. She had been acting a little off her normal self and I knew something was not right, I just couldn't quite tell why. Vet said it was closed pyometra meaning her cervix was closed and the infection was trapped in her uterus, and that is much harder to diagnose so her spay likely saved her life.
