| ![]() Thank you, Orinurse, they said he could probably go home wednesday. They want to redo the biopsy and make sure he will eat. Surgeon said it was a pretty invasive surgery but not as invasive as going through the top of the nose which he was worried he would have to do if he couldn't get it out through the palate. I'll let you know when he's home safe and sound and pawing at me for treats. luv corrinne |

| ![]() Wow! I am just seeing this amazing story now. I am so glad that you were as persistant as can be to get your baby the help that he needed. Many years ago we had a Lab that loved popcorn. I would toss pieces up into the air and she would eat it. One day I noticed something on her eye and took her to the vet. I told him that I thought she had a popcorn kernal stuck to her eye on the conrnea. He told me that I was CRAZY that it would be impossible for that to happen.................until he removed it and looked at me stunned. I was 100% correct! I know this is by no comparison what you have gone through but it just goes to show you that strange things happen and we just need to follow our instincts when it comes to our pups. I am so happy to hear that Ted's surgery went well and that the surgeons were able to successfully removed the cause of his problem.

| ![]() Thanx, Megansmom. It has been quite the ordeal and so frustrating. At first I assumed the vet was right and the "carrot" was irrelevant but when it kept getting worse i kept repeating my "carrot" ordeal until finally wound up at specialist who said "It's possible." We have a lab too "Wallace." The big guy is bummed out every time I leave and come back without Ted. He's such a big gentle giant. He was here first. We got him from the pound, and they told us he was a runner and his family got sick of getting calls from the pound. He only spoke Armenian...haha; so it was fun trying to teach him English. Ted was my daughter's dog and came to live with me when he was eight months (he was two on Sunday). But Wallace just put up with his little antics and now they're best buddies. Whenever Ted was having trouble breathing, Wallace would go up to him and sniff him all over as if to say "What's wrong little buddy?" so cute. Jeeze popcorn, carrots....who knew food could cause such trouble. I'll let you know when he's home. luv corrinne |

| ![]() I am so happy to read Ted's surgery went well. Thank heavens you were persistant in your thinking. Can you just imagine how uncomfortable poor Ted must have been with a lump in the back of his throat? Bud and I wish your baby boy a very speedy recovery and hope today flies by so tomorrow can come for both of you, Hugs, |
