Thanx, Megansmom. It has been quite the ordeal and so frustrating. At first I assumed the vet was right and the "carrot" was irrelevant but when it kept getting worse i kept repeating my "carrot" ordeal until finally wound up at specialist who said "It's possible." We have a lab too "Wallace." The big guy is bummed out every time I leave and come back without Ted. He's such a big gentle giant. He was here first. We got him from the pound, and they told us he was a runner and his family got sick of getting calls from the pound. He only spoke Armenian...haha; so it was fun trying to teach him English. Ted was my daughter's dog and came to live with me when he was eight months (he was two on Sunday). But Wallace just put up with his little antics and now they're best buddies. Whenever Ted was having trouble breathing, Wallace would go up to him and sniff him all over as if to say "What's wrong little buddy?" so cute. Jeeze popcorn, carrots....who knew food could cause such trouble. I'll let you know when he's home. luv corrinne
