| ![]() What an incredible and almost unimaginable journey and what a relief that they finally 'heard you' and found the problem. I have held you both in my thoughts and prayers and I will continue to do so until little Ted is all better. Huggs

| ![]() I just wanted to check in on you and Ted. I'm so happy to hear his surgery went well and I hope he gets to come home to you today.

| ![]() TED IS HOME!!! Yippee. His breathing sounds like heaven (can't hear a peep). Final diagnosis says: rhinotomy for mass excision - severe rhinitis with granulation tissue. Since they can't prove the "carrot" caused it since they did not find a piece in the mass, they said they will do some more research and possibly put him on small dose preventative steroids so that inflammation does not return and cause same thing to happen again. I'm hoping they don't go that route cause steroids scare me in the long term. Meanwhile, they have him on Hills i/d food. He has always been on kibble (natural balance last few months); so I hope this will be okay for his sensitive digestive tract, but he can't have anything hard not even 1 kibble. Anyway, thank you for all your support. He is sporting a polk-a-dot pain bandange and seems ok for now (pain meds in a little while). I'm afraid to look in his mouth, but I know there are stiches back there. So glad to have him home safe and sound and effortlessly breathing again. thank you everyone for rooting for my Wee Ted. luv corrinne |

| ![]() ![]() ![]() Now mommy can get some rest destress!--hopefully. I bet you are just watching him sleep, lol. I know I did that when Hot Rod came home from his surgery. Give Ted a big gentle hug from Hot Rod, Maggie May and me. ![]()

| ![]() Thanks, momtohotrod. yup, just staring at him. He's not really out of it cause his surgery was on Monday, but he is resting. Are you a Rod Stewart fan? Figure you must be with a little Rod and Maggie May. I'm from Scotland originally; so Rod's been our superstar for ever (just like your Rod). xo |

| ![]() thank you, Orinurse. Yes, listening to him breathe is such a relief. Even though his little inside of his mouth must still be hurting, he must feel so much better not working so hard to catch a breath. thank you. xo |

| ![]() Hi, Yorkiemom and Ladyjane. Thank you so much. Up for his last pills of the night and he won't eat what they're hidden in. Worked just fine earlier but now he won't touch a thing. Any tricks anyone? why can't they just give us liquid. Usually his dad puts meds to the back of his throat, but we can't do that cause he has stiches. aye aye aye. |

| ![]() Not sure if this will work for you or if he will even eat it, but I had success once hiding a pill in a piece of tuna (yup from the can). She sniffed it out of the piece of chicken but the tuna went down immediately. No other ideas, but thought I would give it a try. Good luck!

| ![]() I hope it will work for you or you find something that will. I know all too well the frustration of having to give meds but having to hide them in order to administer.... not fun.
