not all people deal with a loss the same way; maybe she has a strong heart and used to loosing dogs; but ava was my first and everything in my life; why can't some just get that; plus i am free to grieve and say whatever i want

You compared the fact that you euthanized a pup rather than paying for surgery that was not guaranteed to Elly surrendering Ava to someone who would/could help to give her treatment.

It definitely sounds to me like she is trying to get her back. and feels that banfield clinic should pay for it.

If she HAD the money and still surrendered the dog, then I don't get it. I am supportive of her getting the dog back but to harrass Banfield is wrong.

Before I pass judgement on them I would want to hear their side of the story and the rest of you should want the same. If not then that is waht makes you a bunch of vigilanties.

But I see that your minds are made up and you don't want to be confused with the facts.

I wish you luck in getting your dog back, but not in the way you are doing it. Go there with a check and pay the bill and get the dog it that is what you want. and if it is not what you want then what is it that you want, besides for me to stop posting on this thread.

Go look at her photo albums. That alone brought tears to my eyes. The pictures say it all in my opinion.
Elly is clearly a very nice and well balanced young lady. I am very impressed with the way she has handled all of this...including the unkind remarks.

I thought the same thing when I first looked at her album. Ava is obviously a well loved little girl. I am moved to tears every time I come to this thread.
