I think this pup should stay with you until you can nurse her back to health. I am not so sure how well she will do in the boyfriends care ![]() What is she going to do in the long term with her, being that her parents won't let animals in the house | |

| Hi, I just called Banfield. They said if I purchased the Puppy Wellness plan it should cover the puppy. I called the plan and was told it is a "preventive measure plan" it would not cover an existing condiiton. Anyway, I am waiting to hear from my niece. I will keep you posted. Thanks! |

| I am thinking that the puppy may have had a hypoglcemic attack. Along with the rest of what is going on > If you can have your niece agree to letting the puppy stay with you while she is working, this is ideal. This puppy needs care at all times. The pups needs reg. montering of food intake+ nutrical , gums checked, medications given , and a vet following the care . Keep all records , reciepts , and vet costs , the purchase of the puppy from the pet store . The Pet Store can be sued in small claims court for selling a sick puppy , and all the costs of vet care expenses. + they will be charged with the court fees .

| I agree, since the puppy is already recieving treatment for the Giardia , and has meds, then this is the best plan , or check out other vet hospitals for puppy packages.

| Hi! As someone on the younger side (i'm 22) who just got a puppy, i understand that puppy expenses can be daunting and very, very stressful. Especially when you're young and not making a lot of money. In my opinion, if she cannot afford the expenses, she should not have the dog. With that said, Giardia is easily treatable and not serious as long as it is taken care of. Low blood sugar is definitely more serious and she needs to make sure her puppy is eating and feeding the pup nutrical. If she cannot handle the responsibility then it may be better to find another home for the pup, but please make sure it's a good home!!! Good luck |

| I just spoke with my niece. I was going to try to convince her to leave the dog with me until she is better. She told me she has a girlfriend who is willing to give her some money for the dog and take care of the dog and the vet bills. I told her that would be best for her and for the dog. I told her about the pedialite. I will text her about the nutrical. Her girlfriend is a God send. She is going to her friends house now. I will keep you posted. Thank you all! |
