Hi! As someone on the younger side (i'm 22) who just got a puppy, i understand that puppy expenses can be daunting and very, very stressful. Especially when you're young and not making a lot of money. In my opinion, if she cannot afford the expenses, she should not have the dog. With that said, Giardia is easily treatable and not serious as long as it is taken care of. Low blood sugar is definitely more serious and she needs to make sure her puppy is eating and feeding the pup nutrical. If she cannot handle the responsibility then it may be better to find another home for the pup, but please make sure it's a good home!!! Good luck
