| Update Well Yoda has taken a turn today. He is not really bad but enough to get my emotions going. The second litter is still moving forward in a positive direction, with the exception of Chloe. She was the one that wasn't showing any signs, today she started having soft jelly stools. But everyone is still eating on their own and I am staying on top of the meds. |

| Thank You Everyone It helps me so much to get on here and let it out. Wether it be good or bad news, just getting it out seems to keep me going. I appreciate the prayers that everyone is offering, and just the kind words. I haven't been much of a poster on here, and yet everyone has been so kind. Thank you everyone. Truly, thank you. If not for this forum I am not sure that I would have any sanity left. The vet has been wonderful, he even called me today to see how things were going. He is very blunt, yet compassionate at the same time. Just a wonderful doctor. I think I have finally found on that I have faith in. |

| Update All are still holding on. Capri is the worst, having trouble keeping her from vomiting. Force feeding everyone today including Yoda. But the gums are staying pink, and they are moving around a little. Sometimes biting each other. Started injecting fluids into Capri, and adding 1 cc of pediasure every time she vomits to her normal feeding schedule. |

| Update This morning everyone was doing okay. I gave Capri a bath,(she really, really needed it) and held her for about an hour all wrapped up to make sure that she stayed nice and cozy warm while she was drying. She looked so cute, I kept thinking I need to take a picture of her all bundled up, and share with you all. Around 5:30 I decided to lay down, I slept till 9 and jumped up to check on everyone. Every one seemed fine, didn't even have any big messes to clean up. Thought to myself wow, it's going to be a good day. So I went in to grab all the meds and feeding supplies, and bleach water, etc.... I get the pads and floor cleaned up, start talking to the babies, and Capri is all curled up in the back. I think her heart may have just given out. Her eyes were wide open and not glazed over like the others that I lost........I am so devastated. I had convinced myself that I was going to be able to save these guys, they were doing much better that the first litter. I hurt so much, I just keep seeing her sweet little face....why didn't I take that picture????? Poor sweet baby, she fought so hard, she was never really down she would still move around, I can't take this..... |

| fort dodge and silent pravo omg I should of posted this on here before there is a new stain of Parvo that is resistant to Fort dodge shots .. I am so sorry for your loss My good friend lost her whippet puppie to a new silent strain of parvo it sounds like the strain your talking about ..there are no signs of the parvo attack except the day before slightly loose stool and then the next day near death ... this parvo attack took a vet tec of 20 year by suprise she has been showing and breeding just as long too. the same silent parvo took my friends pom kennel like wild fire she lost two litters to this strain .. but the fort dodge shots do not protect your babies from this strain of parvo

| Oh, dear heaven. This is one of the saddest things I've ever read. I'm so sorry, Jacqulyn. I can't begin to tell you how much I admire your courage and tenacity. You're amazing.
