| ![]() She's at home sleeping now. She was pretty awake when I picked her up but is still really sleepy. She ate a little and is on her bed now. They sent home some pain meds but they said she probably won't need them after tomorrow. She just has a small incision with two stitches. They said she should be back to normal in a couple days..they just want her to rest tonight and tomorrow. And no bath for 10 days...and she's a mess. They shaved more on her sides, one front leg, and one back foot..and she has some sticky stuff in her hair. She was glad to see me when I picked her up.

| ![]() Bless her heart. I know she must have been overjoyed to see you. Sorry her hair is in such a mess. What can that mean that she has scarring on her liver? I know you must be on pins and needles waiting on the test results. I will be keeping you and Lacy in my thoughts. And hoping for good results.

| ![]() Just checking in to see how it went today. I'm happy to hear that Lacy was able to come home. Poor baby. I'm sure she'll be herself again in the next day or so. I bet Riley was happy to see her. Did he sniff her all over to see where she's been? Keeping you all in my prayers Michele! ![]()

Yeah, I had some bath wipes and used those..they are better than nothing and got some of the stickiness off. She's had some diarrhea too but hopefully her tummy will feel better tomorrow. I gave her some more pain meds and she's sleeping again

| ![]() Lacy still isn't feeling too good. They said she ought to be pretty much back to normal today, but she's still not active at all. If she's not normal in the morning I'll have to take her back. She's been having some watery diarrhea since I brought her home, and it just kindof leaks out sometimes like she can't control it. She did eat some last night, but I had to hand feed her a little this morning. She won't drink much on her own so I've been syringe feeding her some water because I don't want her to get dehydrated. I gave her some more pain meds at noon today which I know makes her sleepy..but she still acts like she's in pain. She groans when I pick her up and doens't want to move around a whole lot. Usually with laproscopy they recover a lot quicker. I just feel back for her and hope she feels better soon.

What pain medication is she on? If I remember right, you don't give grain but how about making her some chicken breast and sweet potato or something? Maybe the smell will entice her and it would be good moisture. lol, I'm sure you know to check but are her gums pink?
