Offer your dog, plain cooked rice, white chicken meat. they both need to be eating a healthier diet. I am thinking that the blood in the stools is likely caused by parasites. Especially if they are being housed outside. that is hard to understand, because these guys are great indoors pets, and thrive on attention and love from their human families. Since that is not an option, then your going to have to be diligent in keeping up with their needs even more so . They need propper grooming as well as a healthy diet. i have a 15 year old son. I don't think it is right , as a parent to allow my child 100% resonsibility for two dogs without the financial support or follow up care that all dogs need and deserve. I believe it is time to think about these dogs, and what is best for them. Keeping them outside to live the rest of their lives, and to breed them when they are not healthy is cruel.

| I have a niece that is the same age as you, so I'm going to talk to you like I talk to her when she needs advice... Honey, just because it is Labor Day does not mean that vets are not available to help you. You need to get on the phone and call around..maybe even to a vet that isn't in your town. Someone is going to have an answering machine that tells you what to do if you're having an emergency- maybe they'll give a home number to call or refer you to another clinic. Even if you do not see a vet today, I really think it is in your best interest to at least TALK to one, get their opinion and get an appointment made for first thing in the morning. I have many thoughts going around in my head about your parents at the moment...I understand being short on money but that shouldn't even be the issue here. Unfortunately for you at such a young age, you need to step up and act like an adult. Go confront your parents, tell them what is going on with your dog, tell them it is an emergency and you need help figuring out what to do. Now is not the time to let their personal feelings about the dogs stand in the way. All of you need to have the dog's best interest in mind and that is getting professional advice from a vet AND SOON! Good luck! You and Brudas are in my thoughts.

My family is stuggling know yes because of the lack of work around here for my father and mother who are R.Ns. Any other time this would have been no problem I don't think you guys understand.

But I do find it unbelievable that you spent that much money on the kennel etc with heat and AC that had to cost over $1000 and now you can't afford to get the dog medical care. | |

| Okay! I just got a call from a vet! I will get an appointment made! And my friend is offering some mixed breed puppies to sell for her(I can keep the money). To save for his bills. Anyone know any good websites to advertise on? I think I can get 25$ for them and theres 7. So that will help. Anyone know any one who needs a pup? I have pictures for people who are interested their super adorable so I don't think I'll have probllems selling them. Anyway, What should I do while I wait until I can see the vet? Any thing I can do for him to make him more comfortable?

| Thank you. Now I'm going to describe a very realistic scenerio for you. Your dogs are of prime breeding age. She could go into heat at any time, so we aren't talking about a situation in the distant future. We're talking aboit maybe 3 to 4 months, because i doubt that you have made any provisions for keeping them separated. Your dog is pregnant and goes into labor, the puppy is stuck and mother needs a C section. She is screamuing in pain. What are your plans for that. In order to breed dogs you need to have the financial resources to cover emergency situations. I know the idea of having puppies is very exciting to you, but it is very stressful and costly. |
